Pipes are packed and marked according to the requirements of corresponding standards and technical conditions

Delivery contract should specify:

Marking: marking of separate pipes in a bundle, marking of each pipe in a bundle, marking of pipes at
the ends or repeated all over the length.
Information included in marking on pipes: colour strips, letters, figures, trade marks and marks of compliance with standards.
Method of marking: paint, mechanical stamping, electric discharge method.
Protection against soil and dust: caps on the ends of pipes.
Form of package: round, hexahedral, rectangular.
Bubdle secured: by steel band, by 6 mm wire.
Conservation: industrial oils (liquid), thick grease (cannon grease), ait-waxen suspensions.
Packing in a container: wooden lath casing, wooden boxes, wrapped up in a water-resistant paper by bundle, box-lined with paper or ruberoid, each pipe separated by lining.
